Alternative Art Histories: Future Directions in U.S. Latinx Art

Alternative Art Histories: Future Directions in U.S. Latinx Art is a two-day symposium co-organized by Art graduate student Marco Antonio Flores and Professor C. Ondine Chavoya. The event will take place at The Clark Art Institute and will run from Friday, May 3 through Saturday, May 4.

The keynote will be delivered by Laura E. Pérez on Friday, May 3 and the symposium will continue with a series of speakers on Saturday, May 4. We have a fabulous line up of museum curators, museum directors and art historians who will focus on the aesthetic contribution of U.S. Latinx arts and how to (re)imagine art history.

The symposium is free and open to the public.
