Antonio Martorell, painter, graphic artist, writer and radio, television personality, and artist resident of the University Of Puerto Rico-Cayey University, will give a public talk/performance on Puerto Ricans and Aging. Martorell will give a presentation about some of his artwork and installations, as well as performing excerpts from his play Veveviejo.
He holds workshops in Playa de Ponce, and Hato Rey, Puerto Rico, and New York. His paintings are found at the Instituto de Cultura Puertorriqueña, Museo de la Universidad de Puerto Rico, Museo de Arte de Ponce, Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico, Galería Nacional de San Salvador, Museo de Arte Moderno de México, and others.
